I think I'd cry if I dinged those up. By the way, my bars are bent. They're annoying me. I think they'll be replaced before next year.
Yeah, I bent the hell out of my old ones - on the right side in Beatrice, then on the left in the next crash. You should get some speckled bar tape, I hear it's what all the cool kids are doing.
It'll be black or white tape for me. That's it. I'm so not pimp. I'm the guy who -- rightfully so -- blends in with the pack. I'm wearing tall wool Sugoi socks right now (because I wore them on the way to work and they are warm and I like them), and I think I'm being 'edgy.' In fact, I wore them on the Bike Masters century (or half-century for me), and thought I looked cool. I probably didn't.
